Your brand's personality should be reflected across all of your media, both online or offline - your customers' experience should be consistent at all of your touchpoints. Stock imagery should really be a last resort, it's typically cold and likely used by many other businesses. Corporate photography should be used to show off your own business!
Ecovis approached me to provide them with images for their new website; including office shots, employee candids and client relationships. These were shot over a series of days to facilitate suitable client meetings, and the final results provided Ecovis with a bank of brand collateral to keep their visuals fresh.
